Frank Lauletta
Attorney and Founding Member
Frank Lauletta is a corporate attorney and founding member of Lauletta Birnbaum, LLC in Sewell, New Jersey. He advises companies in software, technology, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, and professional services, often serving as outside general counsel to clients across the country.
The practice
Frank Lauletta built his career on a simple premise: legal strategy only works when it is built around business objectives. As a founding member of Lauletta Birnbaum, LLC, he works directly with executive management teams, often acting as outside general counsel, so that legal decisions and commercial decisions are made together rather than in sequence.
A substantial part of his practice sits at the intersection of technology and law. He advises technology-driven companies on sales, licensing, distribution, and royalty arrangements, and counsels clients on intellectual property matters that shape how these businesses commercialize their products. He has also guided clients through major transitions: purchases and sales of businesses, business succession planning, and shareholder disputes, where legal precision and business judgment both matter.
Frank co-founded Incutate, which began at Rowan University's Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship to provide legal, business, and strategic guidance to startup and emerging-growth technology companies. It has since grown into co-working locations across Philadelphia and New Jersey, where entrepreneurs and founders get real-time advice from people who have sat on the other side of the table.
He holds a Juris Doctor with Tax Honors from Rutgers Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. On the subject of change in the profession, he puts it plainly: "You can't fight the tides of change, so it is best to figure out how to incorporate the tools to the benefit of your clients and work product."
